Feeling down? Want to feel special? Get a VA - Virtual Assistant

without comments

If you feel worthless, you should really consider getting a Virtual Assistant. I feel really special right now. Someone who is more interested in my life than any of my friends. Now that is cool. Even if my VA is paid, I love it! Call me fickle. Don’t scoff before you try it. Its great!

Stop dying like you will live tomorrow and live like you’ll die tomorrow.

This is the scenario of slaving to get to the point where we can do what we want, which is 40 years away by most people’s standards. This is absolutely ludicrous. That we should put ourselves through this torture. Start living today like you are dying tomorrow. One of the motto’s of Fight Club come to mind now, “I should have been heckling with my insurance company” is one that comes to mind. Tyler Dirden is saying that he should have been Living. He was more interested in his IKEA than he was about dealing with the job that he hated. Start living today. Start those things you wanted to do. Like the men of Project Mayhem in Fight Club, “paint a house”, “paint a self portrait”, etc. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LIFE WHILE YOUR STILL NOT SOIL! There is no way we were meant to do what we hate, or even do what we just don’t like our whole lives. We were meant to thrive and evolve. GET UP OFF YOUR A**. WAKE UP AND SMELL LIFE. The more that we allow ourselves to be ok with the monotony and the BS that is our usual expected life the harder it is to get out of that rut and the more likely we are to go see a psychiatrist and start a regimen of anti anxiety, anti-depressants, etc. I realize there are chemical imbalances and to those patients, yes you need those. But in general these are way over prescribed. DON’T YOU THINK THESE THINGS ARE A MESSAGE TO YOU, IF YOUR LIFE SUCKS CHANGE IT!! Anxiety and depression can be canaries in the cage for whether or not we are seeking progress in our lives, to the extent that we are seeking that which we actually want.

Don’t just “be grateful” and be done with it. Do Somethin

without comments

There is a sentiment of being grateful for what you have. To a certain extent this is correct but only to the extent that you enjoy that which you have. If you are eating a literal s*** sandwich, why should you be grateful for it? Or to be in prison? I can totally understand being grateful for having done, or having been somewhere bad, because this can foster growth and turn into something good. Overall though the concept of being grateful for what you have that you don’t like is asking for more of it.

So we can all see that the gas companies are collaborating on price, otherwise there wouldn’t be such huge profits.

with one comment

I would think this is quite obvious. When all companies of one industry are profiting enormously at around the same rate for a long period of time, capitalism is not working correctly. What this means is that if it were, than there would begin to be a lower cost provider, even if it is a commodity. There can still be cheaper providers of other commodities, with competition the price of gas should be based on more than just the price of the raw product, or even the cost of the refined product.  It should be based on marketing and margins of allowable loss in order to convince the customer to use their product. When the obvious doesn’t happen look to collusion.

NWA: An Update

without comments

I had a decent experience when using my customer service vouchers last weekend. I had to use them or lose them, which I didn’t like, but aside from that this experience wasn’t so bad. We were wondering about our first flight, because it was delayed, but  so was our connecting flight. If our connecting flight hadn’t been late we would have missed our connection, but it wasn’t so it worked out. This could have been just like last time though. I will do my best to avoid NWA because this type of thing seems to be regular.

Ask Sunday

without comments

I asked Sunday and am waiting for a response. I’m willing to try just about anything. This is an outsourcing service for small tasks (less than 20 min). Anything bigger would be considered a project and would cost more, but I got 15 tasks a month for $29. There is a week trial period, with 4 free tasks. It is for more basic tasks, like ordering things online, setting appointments, etc. I am still testing the product, but the idea is great. I might end up with GetFriday, which is a charge per hour service and is more expensive, but I bet it is better too. Use my name as a referral for Ask Sunday if you sign up, and I’ll get points. Ask Sunday I will update this post when I decide.
