A backdoor “hello”

without comments

When casually reviewing your Google Analytics visitors you see a daily spike of 700 %, it probably means you’ve been linked or that you have something in a recent post that caught the attention of the “SPIDER”. The Google spider that is. Like when I posted about talkster.com, craigslist, ovguide, these posts attracted mild traffic on these topics. Then when looking at the detail you will find your sources. Thank you Kristin Shoemaker & Download Squad for the link! This also shows that being proactive with promoting your site by being useful helps out a ton, even if most people had known about the tool I mentioned. This was all within 5 hours of the Downloadsquad post.

Readership explosion.

without comments

My readership has exploded in the last week. I think this is mostly due to a few things:

-Technorati reference of my reference to Seth Godins posts.

-Visability tools on Feedburner.

-Google analytics, and using this to reference what is working.

Seth,

Did you contact Air Canada directly about this?

Just wondering if you had accepted my challenge?
